I don't think anyone was intentionally blowing your post off. I bet it is just that the folks that have read it don't have any experience with the JLP plenum. It is not really a mod that just everybody has...like a pulley or something would be.
Hang loose a bit...I bet someone that has first hand knoweledge of it will show up.

If you have a KB then they help alot! Its the intake design that KB should have sold with the blower. The stock plenum restricts the volume of air induced in the blower. Im not sure of JL's stock plenum for the Eatons.

I picked up 2 psi of boost over the C&L plenum on my KB. That means it definitely picks up power. If you do a nice silicone bead when assembling it and allow it to completely dry before firing the engine it selas fine.
