Lightning with a GM warranty?

I recently purchased my Lightning from, of all places, a hummer dealership. I got an extended 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty....from GM!

So, the question that is posed....if I need my vehicle serviced...go to a GM place or to Ford?

Guesses? I am contacting the dealer where I bought it and see what they say.

Hmmmm, thats weird. Never heard of that happening. If its a GM warranty it will be GMPP (General Motors Protection Plan) and they usually only write them on GM products. In that case I believe you would have to take it to a GM dealership, unless your plan will pay with a credit card then you could take it wherever you like. Call and check with them, its a very good question.

I have the same thing. Bought my L from a GM dealer. I had to call a GM dealer and then make an appointment there. Then they take it to their preferred Ford dealer for it to be repaired. I went through this when my transmission went out and thats how they do it.
