Speaker Box
Is that a US1000HC? I'm not sure that's a class D. If it's A/B, you better get another battery or a nice 200 amp alternator. Those things will pull some massive amperage. Nice setup by the way. IDQ-10's are nice little subs.

Gosh i love your set-up. My next system will be done by Sensuous Sound

The MTX box is a piece of *****. It's just plastic and will flex like crazy even if you got them in there.
Check out www.proboxrocks.com They have a nice box with some depth to it that's MDF and won't flex. I was running 1400 watts to 2 JL 10W6v2s and it sounded GREAT.

Hey Falcon, the 10W7 needs atleast 8" of mounting depth to fit in a box and the one from Probox only has 7.75" of mounting depth. As far as the airspace goes...0.80 cu/ft isn't quite enough for the 10W7. If it were me I would try and do 4 8" JL W3's in a regualr cab. Just my $0.02.

Brandon,
I'd like to go no smaller than tens, but still want the best of the best. What is the most powerful, best performer, etc. we could fit in our trucks. Your right on with the 10w7's, they just won't fit if I want the seats to go all the way back. How did you like the 10w6v2's?
Any other suggestions?

The W6 is an awesome driver. They are a bit more on the SQ side and dont get as loud as the W7 but trust me... they get loud. Two of those you there's no doubt that you'll be happy. Can i ask why you dont want anything smaller than 10's??

I love my W6's, they were GREAT in the lightning. Extremely clean and still hit the lows.
Best sounding sub I've ever owned, and definately more responsive then the W7. Much more musical sub.

I don't know, guess it's the size thing. 8's just seem so whimpy. I had 2 12's in my last reg. f-150 (not an L)...
Do you think you can get more/better quality out of 4 8's then 2 10w6's? You said the 8w3's right?

I guess I could go with the 8w7, its mounting depth is only 6.93 in.... Could easily fit a few back there with the seats all the way back... I think 2 of those bad boys would be plenty.
Anyone have them?
Anyone have them?
Falcon,
I'm a fan of the 4 8" subs because they can get loud and sound good doing so, all without losing any space. With a proper box, any of the set-ups you've mentioned would make you happy. Just make sure you have a good enclosure!!
