Cool Need help finding a grille emblem.

I am looking for a grille emblem to install on my billet (powder coated black) grille. The Lexus "L" would look pretty sharp I think, but I was hoping someone might have a better suggestion.

Back in Anchorage, I saw a handful of F150s with a light up ford blue oval on the front. The were okay looking, good eyecatcher though.

i was thinking of a billet Calvin ( a working model connected to windshield washers) possibly with a joystick to go right/left/straight.

How about one of the fender emblems. Before I sold mine, I removed the rear bumper SVT emblem and replaced it with a fender lightning bolt emblem. Looked pretty sharp from the back.

I put one of those on already. i didn't care for it on the billet grill. it is 9x2 and covers too much. i liked your lexus idea. i'm going to tear into the GS400's wheel and other badgeing to see what it looks like.

Good mornin' mswaim, sounds like something I might do, that way the driver on the passenger side will actually get a hint before he goes deaf. a coupla questions, how did you take off the emblems and put themback on, and how did the SVTF150 look on the fender (looking from the front bumper to rear)? I haven't seen my truck since Jan 13th, and probably won't until Mar 13th. Isn't the fender curvy like this ) , and the emblem straight like this |? Do you see what I mean? Last question, what are the times for that Allante? Thanks, much appreciated.

Okay I finally see what you are talking about. Sorry, I've been known to do that about certain jokes to. finally start laughing halfway into the next one. Yeah, not a bad Idea. Here's some idea's I just thought of

Option 1: Lightning bolt all by itself
Option 2: chevy bowtie with a lightning bolt thorugh the 'heart' of it. (kinda like the calvin sticker)
Option 3: the blue oval w/ the lightning rod through it.
Option 4: Haven't thought of it yet

Now that I think about it, I don't like the bowtie idea. I'm not sure about the Lexus, because it'll make the Lightning look like a Toyota variant, I can already hear it "Man that's the new toyota? I heard they've got the fastest v8." That's just my opinion though.

Hi Tundra. On the emblem, it's not curved, but it does have two molded mounting pillars which you will have to remove before applying it to the tailgate. (By the way, I did not remove the fender emblems, I bought a new one for the tailgate, and put the SVT F-150 emblem in my toolbox) The SVT F-150 emblem should come right off with a little heat applied, and the adhesive will clean off with a little mineral spirits, or even a little WD-40 . As far as times for the Allante, I've never ran it for times, although I would not be surprised if it faired quite well. The 93's were the only ones with the Northstar rated at 300 horses, and as you know, they are pretty lightweight. I've whipped up on a few unsuspecting Mustang GT's and Camero's too.

the lexus stuff is no good. their L has too much of a forward bend to it, to even cut the letter out of their logo. guess they don't want it to look too much like a letter they cannot pronounce. i might cut the lightning bolt out of one of my spare fender badges and see how that looks on a downward "striking" angle.

Cool

The SVT emblem on the tailgate would look pretty nice I think.

sixpipes, If you are refering to the SVTF150 emblem, it already is on the tailgate. I am talking about taking the tailgate SVTF150 emblem off and replacing it with the passenger LIGHTNING (its all caps on truck) emblem. And re-attatching the SVTF150 emblem onto the passenger side front fender. Mswaim did it first. I think it would look sweet.

Cool

I am talking about:

Option #1
Grille - SVT150 emblem (currently on the tailgate)
Tailgate - Lightning emblem (purchase/passenger side)

Option #2
No Badges

Option #3
Take a poll from members

Option #4
Lexus grille badge

Option #5
Let MrBBQMAN decide for me. (The billet Calvin is NOT an option. The only time you could effectively spray someone would be at a dead stop. As far as Calvin reaching another vehicle while at speed, I have had previous experience pi$$ing into the wind and it is not a pleasant experience).
