Unhappy Intercooler coolant...in the intake...:(

Well, inorder to install the blower pulley I had to remove the air intake ducting. There I happen to find antifreeze dripping from my throttle body .Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this.I`m sure this is my problem, just not sure how it`s getting there...

PFA,
Did you ever notice this on your SVT?

Sal,
If you have a comment, I would like to hear it.Last time I asked you,I had no response..

Anyone have an idea?

Does the throttle body have coolant running through it. I think the thunderbird SC had coolant going through it to keep it from iceing up.

Never had any coolant in the T-Body, and no there isn't any coolant running through it.

Didn't you say you were loosing coolant from your intercooler? It could be pushing backn up from your intake....?

Check your oil also for coolant.

If there is alot of coolant going into the motor (right at the intercooler) it might be possible ?... that the coolant might be getting sucked back up into the upper intake....not sure of this.
I can't think of any other way that coolant could be getting up there.

Was the coolant on the outside or inside of the t-body?
I'm assuming on the inside...

It seemed to be coming from the inside toward the front. I managed to take a few photos of it also for documentation

Do you think the coolant could be returning through the by-pass valve back to the intake side.

Hey Spiro, Sal here. Well, could be a few things. Without looking at my truck, I believe there is a manifold vacuum hose going to the upper intake. That could be transferring fluid. It could also be coming "up" from the intercooler as previously stated. Remember that the manifold pressure under boost pushes up on the blower unit. It could also be pushing coolant up into the intake. I'll take a peek at my truck some more and see if I can find any other ways it could get there.

Question

Are you going to pull the intake to see if the intercooler is leaking?

Sal,
Thanks for the input,So, by the sound of it I guess I should just return the truck to the dealership. Was planning on taking it to the track next weekend, going to have to take care of this problem first.I appreciate you keeping me informed on what it could be.

SCOTTODOG,
Think I`ll let the dealership take care of this one

I'm going through coolant myself at a pretty high rate and am working with the dealer to try to find the source. If you have pics, please post so I have more ammo to use with the dealer.
