That's awesome man!

When did you order yours and were you the first at your dealership?

Hey I bet I'll get my 99 Lightning before you get your 2000 Lightning. It's supposed to be done late this week and hopefully on 10 day ride to Seatle on Monday.

Whats up JIGAWATT,

Utah??? I am currently in Lost Wages, Nevada. I thought I might be getting my Lightning back before the 2000's begin to arrive, but my mom wants her car painted so it can go through an Alaskan spring break-up on VERY fresh paint. I am trying to convince her how much better it would be if she waited 'til summer...

I noticed you've got 4.10s, whats your rpm at 65 mph? Hows the gas mileage? And did you add a neck support to the center seat for the unlucky third passanger? I'll be up there in a coupla weeks, Wa that is

Cool

Talked to my dealer today (Leif Johnson Ford in Austin TX) and said his first L will arrive late Feb. I'm number 2, so I hoping it'll be early March when I get mine. Anyone else on the list buy from Leif Johnson?

Moonshine
Have the other five had their L's delivered? If not, do you know when they will get them?

The excitement is on!!! So now we've seen several indications that the Lightnings are being built. I'll have to call my dealer today. With my luck my L will arrive next week while I'm snowmobiling in Utah and they'll sell it to someone else for 5k over list.

Sounds Promising Moonshine. I ordered mine from Tommy Vaughn in Houston way back on 8-14 and am expecting the call in the next few weeks. Good luck during what will probably be the longest 2 weeks of your life.

Smells like some heat between the 99s and 00s already. You know there's gonna be trips to the track over this...Thanks to Wyldman, BLACK is the quickest. I am really excited for everyone waiting for their Lightnings. Just liek that dreaded long drive to the carnival when you awere a kid...

Jigawatt, Im in Boise, not so far from Kenn. wa. I have a red lightning 99, and a Black 93. I really enjoy driving these trucks. Just thought Id let you know your not alone here in the North West. Also going to Lost Wages for the Nascar race in march. This has sprung a funny debat.A friend and I are driving to Las Vegas without wives and both like driving on the limit of speed. We want to take the 99 but our wives are fliing in and it does not have room, wanted to see the 141 for ourselves, only made 125 at portland international speedway. So I have a 93 with a topper and seats in back, room for all 4. The 93 is supercharged with a powerdyne and goes good up to 110 the oops it shuts off, well you never know when a corvette might go by and even a wimpy corvette will go 110. So now Im left with a 97 Cobra convert, a good ride but if you race that corvette with a lowered fat tired cobra and bet the corvette they kind of expect it. So we are back to the 99, cause if you bet a corvette at over 125 in a truck doesnt that make the corvette owner feel like a hero!! Just wanted to give you some sort of idea of what kind of truck nut you have in your area.

Tundra, I hate to disappoint you, but there's volumes of scientific evidence that lighter colors are more areodynamic, hence white will always be the quickest.

'00, I didn't ask about the others, and I think he would have mentioned it if any of them had arrived.
