Downloaded it just a minute ago - excellent job.

What a cheap way to get to 25 posts - I'm a "member" now.

There is a shareware program call "WallChanger" available at http://gate.cruzio.com/~seaweb/blue/
It should do all of the things that you ask. Take a look.

Tried to get the SS this morning and it wasn't there. Just tried to load it to disk and all I got was a bunch of strange writing when I clicked on any of the disk links...?

PFA & Others too.
Here is a little help. 1.You Must Right Click on the file. A message box will open and ask you what you want to do. 2. Select "Save Target As" normal left click. 3. Another message box will open "Save As" and will list the file "SS1.htm" (don't worry about the file extension) just click on save and note the folder to where it is sent. Now go to your folder select the file and drag & drop it on your WinZip icon. The file will be decoded (unzipped) and you can send the contents to the folder of your choice. One big folder is you wish to excute from your hard drive or several folders if you wish to transfer to diskettes (all file sizes are under 1.44Mb). I hope this helps any questions just send me a note. Thanks.

I would like to say thank you to everyone that provided photos/images and also to those of you that have previewed it so far. Some great shots from the South,Southwest and California too. In fact here is one for you. The is 2cool99 / Debbie's Lightning.

Say BAbolt, Are you going to post one new file, or replace all four files? They are fairly large, just curious, Great job! And thanks for the wall picture changer.

I have to redo the whole thing to add the additional photo/images but I think it is worth it. Plus I don't want to leave anyone out but that may be the case since I don't have photos/images from everyone. As for Wallchanger that is a nice program for $10.00 and if you go to the Zing Lightning site you can cherry pick for some nice wallpaper. Thanks.

BABolt,

I have tried to extract your zip files several times but no luck. I'm running a NT OS if that helps explain anything. I've also downloaded the latest version of WinZip.

Here is the error summary:

Dll: C:\PROGRA~1\WinZip\wz32.dll - 09/26/97 06:30
Extracting to "C:\My Documents\LabenzJ\FS\lightning\screen saver\version2\"
Use Path: yes Overlay Files: yes
Extracting setup.sa1
bad CRC 87d28083 (should be 442b63d4)
Extracting setup.ini
Extracting setup.exe
bad CRC bf30443c (should be c728868c)
Extracting setup.sa2
bad CRC b16027b6 (should be aa3d3171)
Extracting setup.sa3
bad CRC b74059fb (should be 13742cef)
Extracting setup.sa4
bad CRC 835e5292 (should be 004a35d2)

I had no problem whatsoever in downloading the first SS (in fact I tried it again just now and it works).

Let me know if I can help in any other way.

I hear ya. It was working great on Wednesday evening, using MS IE (are there any other browsers). Well then I tested it behind a firewall with that other browser that is known to crash at the blink of an eye. It did not work, so I know that I have to fix it. Hey thanks. I will fix it before the revised SS is posted. So much for the Beta test.

BABolt,

I'm also using Internet Explorer.

BTW, when do you sleep? Posting at 2:17am doesn't leave much time for recharging does it?
