Well, the snow has melted and the salt has cleared. So last night after the Luis Miguel concert ( I was lost....very little spanish in my book...but wife was into it) we decide to take the 99 out for its maiden voyage with the Superchip.

Bettina was overwhelmed with the crispness of the shifts. She doesn't really register anything beyond "Fast" but she easily recognized the driveability difference. Shes into it (Thats a good thing)

After 10 miles we switched...

The Shifts are much improved. The truck is definitely quicker. How much I don't know. I did a 80-100+ run and noticed no slowing or hesitation at higher speeds. The guy in the ricerburning honda was a bit pissed that a truck took him from 60 to 100.

Anyway, I am not one to burn the tires but I decided to stop in at the local FoodLion and see what the L would do from a roll......SC whine and spinning tires. Just as described by Mike T.

All in all, I want to get a good 100 miles before I really get on it.

In conclusion, if you don't have a chip...get one. I am sure that either the PSP or the Superchip will give you your $$'s worth. Run, do not walk, to get one.
