Post Kill or be killed.

Well it was relativly nice here again yesterday so I took the L to a local "cruising" area banking on people bringing out their toys. I was not disapointed. Made 5 runs and was handed my head on 2.There goes the undefeated streak .
One loss to a guy in a new Vette, and the other to a 911,a modded 911 no-less. The Vette was a close one, but the 911 was...well it was not so close. The victories came at the exspense of canibalizing 2 80's stang gt's(both far from stock) and I ate up a Camaro RS.I was invited to "hang" w/ the Ford guys in the summer there. My truck drew lots of attention, noone there had seen one before. So even w/ the losses I still felt very proud,I am lucky to be one of the few w/ an L.

Hitman,
No luck today. I chased down a new GT & a Cadillac. Both were showing off to the world till I arrived then the drivers melted into their seats. These people just won't cooperate!

Zoomer,
I find that I'm either constantly being challenged by cars that just don't measure up and I refuse to race(ie. 6cyl mustangs/camaros a volkswagon golf?!?) or the "big dogs"(ta's/z28's ect) are just to fearful to go. It gets frustrating don't it?

No kidding, when my Lightning was cruisin around town, not hitting any moose or chilling at a body shop, I always got 'picked' on from vehicles that were easily no match. A Toyota Tundra (I had the name first) always kept eggin me on, but I always managed to keep up. I wouldnt pass him because of all the traffic, that and I did not want to blow him away on studded tires. His plate "V8 Toy" yeah buddy its a toy alright... Another was a dakota sport, I kept up again with the boost pegged at ZERO! Ohwell, I used to get mucho respect from the Trans Am guys. Then my friend hit a moose for me.

Update...
The Lightning should be done this Thursday or Friday. They've had for about 5 weeks now, and 1.5 weeks of work after they get all the parts. They've had the parts for close to a month now. "Bet you guys can't get it done before March." That's what I told them after they said they'd be the fastest in town.

Don't you know it. Tried to start something with a Ram Air TA on the interstate yesterday - NOTHING. Same thing with a C5. What's up, its only a truck. hehe
