Delphi 50lb injectors....?

Hey Lightning guys,
I'm not driving a lightning, but a Vortech Charged BOSS 5.4
I am removing the Vortech FMU, and upgrading the fuel injectors. I allready run dual lightning pumps, and a lightning MAF. I have been told to buy a set of bosch 42 pounders, but a friend has a set of Delphi 50lb injectors for sale, and at a good price. Any suggestions or comments on the delphis? I am pushing 10psi on the charger, if that makes any difference. And a custom tune is in the very near future. Thanks for any input. -Rob

the truck will run fine ecept without a tune you might be running too rich with the injectors and no tune.. just my 2 cents.. i like the boss trucks and the fact that you supercharged it.. do you have any pics? post them up...

I figured that would be the case....

Well, running it too rich is way better than too lean at high boost and rpms, right? here's some pics

I don't know much about the delhi injectors, I run 50 lbs MSD injectors and they work great.

I see you are in Florida, I would get ahold of the guys at SCT and see what they can do for you

They are in Orlando

the delphi and the msd's are the same thing. and i've been running the delphi's for 4 years now. not one issue yet but they will no longer fit my need this spring as i'm upping the power on my combo.

Well, I can get you a # for the person to tune it for you. I am sure you have a chip already, putting those injectors should be fine, and a tune should be easliy done in no time. Plus you get to see what that thing puts down.

If you have already called around for tuning in the area, I can't stress enough NOT TO GO TO J&J. I have seen 3l's blow under his tuning ability.

Call me up and I can get you in to my tuner. # is in another post you replied too.
