L rocks forward on cold mornings

L rocks forward on cold mornings

Almost every morning when it is cold, when i go to start my truck it rock forward. kinda weird. is there something wrong with the tranny? is the linkage to tight. the only thing i dont understand is why it only does it when it cold

Yup... My 2000 did it and 2003 does it (not all the time, but every now and then)

well since i live in san antonio and were havin this BS wether it has been doing it, but since you all say it is normal i guess i souldnt be worried. but other then that it has been running like a raped ape on crack since it is cold

I wish my raped ape on crack would hook a little better on F1's... God, this cold weather really livens her up, but damn, I can't even do a roll from 60mph right now with out breaking them loose...

On another note, I'm thinking about taking advantage of this cold air tomorrow night at San Antonio Raceway, maybe I can squeeze a few hundreths more out of her

I've only had mine since August but it rocks when I start it after it's been sitting. I really only get a chance to drive it on weekends. Well, now not till March/April depending on how bad the winter is.

ya same here. i guess i will be seeing u out there. last time i was there it ran 12.99 with a broke after cooler pump and almost blew the motor because it pinged so dam bad at the top end.

i said it ran like a raped ape but i never said it hooked up.....lol i am in the same boat u are in.

well with all the crap on the roads (sand mainly) I'm not gonna venture down tonight. Don't care for new rock chips and pits in the paint & glass. Drove around in my ranger today, that stuff is all over here in austin. Need some good rains to wash this stuff out now

it isnt to bad here. everyne driving around pretty much pushed all of the crap to sides of the roads so it all good here. but ya i know what you mean i got a black L and u see everything. but thats cool i understand. my L is my pride and joy to.
