Exclamation heater hose leeking on 99 lightnings?

I had a problem with a cyl. not firing under boost! this problem would come and go? the dealer found this to be from a heater hose in the back by the firewall leeking coolant on the back coil! they said there was a service bulletin on this for reg. f-150, the hose has a spring clamp that does'nt have enough clamping force and some hoses were not pushed on far enough!, everyone should look to see if they have any coolant leeking there onto there coils!. i hopes this helps someone out to stop a future problem..

Is that "leeking" as in "potato leek"? I thought that was some kind of soup!

Sal here. That is a common Triton truck problem. The heater hose by the firewall leaks coolant onto the number 4 coil pack. We change these on the Naviagtors all the time. This is the first I've heard from a Lightning owner, but I'm not surprised as it uses the same hose setup.
