Any Xenarcs still around?

Im looking for a set and am having trouble finding any for a reasonable price. Anyone have any for sale or know a place that still has them? TIA

I was looking for a set for my H2 and one dealer in CA bought the remaining stock and doubled the price on them overnight. I'm assuming that the F-150 Xenarcs will be similar...good news on that front is that I did manage to get a set directly from Sylvania when they were having their closeout on them (still sitting in the box in my basement as we speak).

I take it that this HID conversion is not made anymore?

Have fitted a set on my 03L and the light output is a massive improvement over the stock halogen fittings.

I know what you want, I have the kit in my Lightning and think it is the best thing I have ever done to the truck. -Mat-

I don't think they wanted to build that type of product anymore, might not have been any money in it. They didn't try really hard though because they only had 3 HID kits ever available, the 98+F150, the Chevy Silverado, and a generic driving light kit. The Chevy kit was discontinued several months before the F150 Kit.

THere might be some legal issues, like new laws for the DOT and they can't get certified anymore for aftermarket equipment is a guess.

I don't think anyone around here would want to part with them if they have them, unless of course they are selling their truck. I for one don't think I could go back to the stock lights after having the Xenarcs. I even changed out my stock fog lights to the Xenarc aux. driving lights.

Ah okay. I have them and like someone else mentioned, I cannot see myself ever selling them. Do they at least still sell replacement parts for them? Ballasts etc...

When I bought mine I was told they will still have replacement parts available. They might require you to show proof of purchase though.

I bought mine this past spring when they were on clearance. With a 30% manufacturer employee discount through Siemens I paid right at $275 shipped to my door.

These are aren't as cheap; but, I think they are reasonable. I can't attest to quality. Stock is fine with me.

I installed JSM HID's in my Avalanche a little over a month ago. Found the kit on ebay for $260 shipped. Worked out great. Not as crisp as the Xenarcs but definately worth the money. The Avalanche has 9006 bulbs and 9005 highs, so I did not lose my highs(I never use them though).
That is the one bad thing about not making the Xenarcs anymore, if you put in a "kit" for a 9007 bulb you loose your highs. -Mat-

I e-mailed them asking about where to find the lights and here's the reply. The site she mentions SUVLIGHTS.COM is out of stock also.

"Good Morning Garry,
Thank you for your inquiry. The X2010 was discontinued close to a year
ago due to poor sales. OSRAM SYLVANIA has actually exited the HID after
market, and we are no longer offering HID upgrade kits. Unfortunately,
we have no stock remaining on any of the kits, but you may still be able
to find them through one of our distributors. You can try contacting
www.suvlights.com . This company purchased most of our remaining
inventory. Because SYLVANIA has discontinued this kit, any warranty
claims or requests for replacements would have to be submitted through
the company that you purchase the kit from. Please do not hesitate to
contact me if you have any other questions.

Sincerely,
Heather
OSRAM Sylvania
Customer Service"
