Hey guys,
When did they start using PATS (chip in the ignition key) on the lightnings?
I am buying an engine tranny setup with computer and harness out of an 02. It is already pulled and doesn't have the key with it. I'll be putting it into a 98 F150 and wanted to find out what was the easiest way to get it running if it does have the chip. Thanks, Mark

They all used PATS. I can make a chip (or programmer) for you to disable it. We do that for all the conversion vehicles (new motors into older cars).
