converters are off
the converters are off and it sure sounds better.i may have lost a little low end torque but it runs alot better from about 2000 and up.its no louder than other trucks with differant brand mufflers but it does have the normal 2000 rpm drone.not offencive but it is louder than stock.the mill eliminator from dallass mustang keeps the check engine light off.now if the pully would get here for the blower i think i will be done unless i go for the 411 gears.

I've never been a big fan of emissions controls, but cats have their place. A lot of us are emission tested and would never be able to license our L's if we did the same. I hope you didn't throw them away, you may need them to sell it, or the next owner will need them, or you may be tested next. They are darn expensive parts. Better hang on to them.

Hey gp, I've been meaning to ask you about that 5000 foot driveway. What were you going to pave it with for only $25K? My driveway is a paltry 500 feet, and they wanted $9K for asphalt, $23K for concrete, and $1K for crushed rock, so I'm on rock. I've wondered if caliche might be a viable option.

I've always been a big believer in a no cat exhaust system. Do you have any 1/4 times in stock form? It would be interesting to see 1/4 times without the cats, but no other mods.

yes, i kept the 980.00$ converters, thats fords price for them.the drive way is 3000 feet and the price was only for the pavement, the base is already 5 inches of crush and run.truck ran 13.95 stock but its too late to run a test with just no converters cause i have too much done to the truck.the asp pulley gave me about 2 lbs of boost and was no problem to put on and its a big improvement.havent heard any spark knock and i plan to get it dynoyed and reburn the chip if it needs it.wife says its a little loud so i may have to put differant mufflers on it.
