I agree, and believe me I've changed mine more than most will in their life time. (@#$(@$%(@$%(@$@$
AS for Injectors, I found the injector swap to be the easiest Mod yet on the truck, 4 bolts and you simply pop them out and in. Start to finish should be 30-50 minutes.

Start at the rear placing the rail over the injector closest to the firewall and work your way towards the front pushing down like a cutting board. IF they don't slip on then some thing is misaligned. Look carefulluy at what you are doing and it will be a breeze.

Thats about all you need to know my Brother "except"
#1- When you remove the 4 bolts holding the rails on, GET A RAG READY "BEFORE" you pull the rail up to catch some fuel
#2- Good ole back Cylinder Drivers Side will of course be the only MF of the bunch, there is minimum clearance there to lift the rail because thats where the fuel line comes in. It's still cake just get up on top of your work and the job is truly a breeze.....
#3- "IF" you want ("if")
You can pull the two Supercharger "NUTS" on the Drivers Side, and unplug all the crap and get the EGR Bracket and all the components attached to it out of your way
As far as oil, I was told grease and couldnt find any, so I used the Beatch's Motion Lotion
HEY MAYBE THATS WHY MY MOTOR BLEW, IT BLEW IT'S LOAD

i said oil cause when i did it i didnt want a clump of grease in the hole for the injector
just wipe some new oil on the o-ring with your finger to lube it up
its not like i soaked the injectors like lifters!!

Mike I hope you dont think I was saying anything was wrong with oil
I just always heard you should use vasoline and since I didnt have any handy,
I got creative like you, (well in my case maybe over creative)

Well? Been more than the 'estimated' swap time since you last posted.
(Based on the opinions of the simplicity of this swap, I'm envious. Gapping my new plugs now and heading out to change them. At least it's not cold.
)
Hope you made out ok..
