That is pretty steep for studs, but if it will keep me from pulling the motor a 3rd time I will pay it.
Please tell if you find out anything ill be needing some soon better to do it right the 1 st time lol...

I think I used to be the one that ran the higest boost I used a 16 lb lower pulley and a 2.69 upper. However, I did it with the Magnum Powers not a KB. The highest I made was 26 lb at Lapeer Dragway but lifted both heads.
I did make 24 lb of boost at JDM on their dyno with Jim behind the wheel Shawn watching the dyno computer and Justin and I watching the gage. We only made 24 lb that time cuz Jim got out of it at 3300 rpm cuz of spring lift.

God Bless,

Suavy

#10JLP lower, 2.75 kb upper and 0 belt slip, the temp was 43f. Is this possible to make 28 psi?
Very sorry Ram Air
THAT SUCKS (believe me I know)
For the record I'd say you are running more boost than most on a KB, I know a lot of people running the KB and most run a 8lb lower + the larger KB upper, but then switch to the 2.7 KB Pulley "only when they're going for their best numbers down the 1320". Of course there are a handful running the smaller pulley all the time, and then another hand full running a 10lb Lower, but as far as running both those pulleys "24/7", I'd say your def running more than most.

Me I was also a Boost Monster, I ran 25lbs of Boost through a Mag, but 22lbs was used for my 24/7 DD. Unfortunately by 1200 miles my built motor was gone, after taking it apart we found I also lifted a head, "even with the ARP 2000's". DEF due to Detonation in my case.....
Frigging detonation will destroy EVERYTHING, ^@$%(*&@^$%@(&$^%(@$&
and on a 43 degree day with that pulley combo, one has to assume without C16 there is a def chance that detonation was present, rememeber the most deadly Detonation is "Silent Detonation"......

So Sorry Pal,
BEST OF LUCK....

yeah like your gauge. You have the same pullies and you claim only 17-18 psi.

I have a 8lb lower and 3" upper making 20psi in good weather at the top of the gear
