Dude, don't feel so bad... you're not alone. I have a 2000 L, 4lb lower, JLP Forced air, Bassani shortys/Catback, FTVB, Nitto DR's, with a JLP dyno tune. I made 396.6 hp and 496.8 tq and only ran a 13.3 @ 103 with a 1.9 60' Sometimes i wish i'd invested my $$$ in something other than this truck

Port your blower and I should think you will see better times.

I have an 01 and at the time all I had was a JDM 2# lower pulley and old single side JDM chip and thats it, went 12.9 @ 106!
I havent heard much good about the predator programmer's. If you get the extra $$$, get a superchips programmer with a JDM,PSP,or JLP tune for your mods and you should drop well into the 12's. Its all in the tune..........
Its amazing what a good tune does for these trucks-night and day difference.
Good luck!!

go to a different track in better air. at my local 1/8th mi track i ran 8.1s.... went to bristol to run the 1/4 and only hit 13.2 with my 1/8 times in te 8.4s. ported my blower since then and dyno tuned making 400/470, went to track last weekend (a different and even crappier track) and ran 8.3s but i know it is the track and she will see 7s next spring at a decent track.

I would think it is the nut behind the wheel that is broken.

It takes a little while to learn how to launch these trucks, practice and you will be in the 12's

How may rpm's are you launching at?
What PSI in the rear tires?

That's a very valid question. I had the worst time getting into the 12's. My best was a 13.2@105. Yes I did get a ported blower, but I also did a burn out for the first time and lowered my PSI in the back to 28lbs. The temp was 51 and i pulled off a 12.7@106 with a 1.89 60'. I am a very big 5,002LBS too

I don't think its your tune, your mods, or anything else. With those mods you listed, many guys have gone high 12s easily, some have seen numbers closer to the mid 12s in good air at a nicely prepped track. My truck is essentially stock, save for a Predator tune and a K&N filter in the stock air box. I ran 13.3 @ 102 on 20" Pirelli tires @ Bradenton last year. I think you need to practice a little more, especially since you have DR's and no traction bars. Get a good set of bars and with a little trial and error you'll find the best rpm point at which to leave the line without your tires going up in smoke. You didn't list your 60 foots, what are they??
