I just wanted to mention that the Roush extended cab on the right in that picture looks BADASS. If SVT sold a truck that looked similar except powered by the Lightning engine, they'd be selling more extended cabs then standard Lightnings...how much does a truck like that run Mumbly?

There is enough flub built into the Lightning, it doesn't need to be as long as a football field!
thats why the aftermarket guys are there...how many supercabs are they selling?

The arrogance of Lightning owners never ceases to amaze me. It's just a truck, for heaven sakes! Turning one's nose up at someone else's truck, especially a fellow F-150 owner, is really low. Last time I checked, this website was "F-150 Online", not "Arrogant, Stuck-up Lightning Owners Online"!

You guys consider yourselves to be "enthusiasts". Well, true enthusiasts appreciate all forms of automotive expression, including competitive makes. The constant bashing of other vehicles, especially Ford, is getting a little old.

Sean:
I just want to say thanks for bringing that kit to my attention. Information like that is why I visit and post on this site. Here's a different view: I love every thing about my Sport, except the cheap grey, lower front fascia. I actually like the bumper cover of this kit, but nothing else. I just may order and install that cover, because it improves the look of my truck in my eyes. Period. I don't care much for the add-on side skirts, and love the idea of dual exhausts exiting straight out the back. If I do install this bumper cover and some think the front end looks too much like a Lightning, that's just too bad. Get over it! If some idiot mistakes my truck for a Lightning because of this, that's his dilusion and not my concern. Shouldn't be anyone elses either.....

Cool

Steve Bopp, Thanks for the info. I hope that is what was meant by that. Blue Blood sorry that I posted my sig twice. I just
wanted to place it up again because Nathan had misspelt Roush. I usually post my sig only once unless it goes to a couple pages
so that people can have my emails and such. I have erased it and placed it with a Roush logo. Exodus, Thanks for the
complement. As for the price I have around 38 grand in my truck, but remember that the Roush Packages and Lighting
Package are very different, like chrome wheels and such.

Mumbly: I stand corrected - Roush.
And yes, I was referring to the lockheed-martin skunkworks, probably some of the greatest aviation engineering minds of this century.

Now, is this thread dead yet???
