"Shock"ing News

I've started typing this thread several times over the last 2 days, and have quit on every attempt. It's been leaked out to a few, and it's past time for me to let everyone else know that I sold my truck. Yes, the TT 32V beast has passed on to someone else. It tore me up to see it leave, but it was something I really wanted to do for my family. Let's just say I am trying to reposition the family assets and get in a better financial position. I imagine I'll have separation anxiety for a good while. It's just hard to part with something that you have put that much time and effort into. I definitely won't be leaving the Lightning scene, I have too many friends that have them, and I met too many others I'd like to socialize with again sometime.

Hopefully I will be able to do a TT or at least Single Turbo 32V Harley for my next BIG project. I will probably be getting an 85.5 or 86 SVO for something to toy with for a while.

Definitely keep the questions coming if you have any about what I did on my buildup, I'll be more than happy to answer them.

Very wise to put the family and future first. Cars/truck/toys come and go.

I know what you mean about shifting priorities.

God Be with you my friend!

Gonna be calling on you this winter for some fitting concerns.

Seriously....You had one of the sickest lightnings ever . For the first time I realized: What else is there to do?

While Iam sorry to see you leave the Lightning scene, its nice to know that you have your priorities in order
Toys come and go, but family is always there

That was and still IS one of the sharpest Lightning's around

Best Wishes to you and your family

Sorry to see it go, it was a phenomenal looking and performing truck.

Did you ever get a chance to see how much power it was making?

Wow i bet it was hard to let her go, but family does come first. I might find myself in the same situation here in a couple of months and the L might just have to go.

Shawn,

You helped me get my truck where it is today and I thank you for that. Family always comes first and I know you put serious thought into the decision before you made it.

Good luck, bro!

Coming from someone with screwed up priorities (I'm talking about YOU Gator) Doesnt always make it easy to see others make this choice,
BUT IT IS THE CORRECT ONE

Shawn, you truly did build "The Most Beeeeeeeeeautiful Beast in the Land",
and as said where the hell do you go from there ???
Thank You for all you've taught me, the wonderful play by play, and I wish you and your Family the Best in all you do

I finally woke up recently and am currently making some major changes in my priorities. My Son and the House are all going to soon be able to get Moded Bigger and Better than ever before, and to Boot the L gets paid off and I save a ton of $ WITHOUT adding 1 day to my current 10yr plan

Dang dude....purely an awesome truck. I've been listening to the vids of the dyno run over and over because it sounds so freakin sweat! Is the truck still in Arkansas? I need one of those to run down parts in...I think I could justify it to Dad.....that would cut downtime in the field in half! No but seriously you've built the sweetest truck I've ever seen. Unlike some of us who will tell our grandkids stories of how we may have driven a 7.0 second 1/8 mile a couple of times or knew of some fast vehicles, you can say you built one of the sweetest and fastest street Lightnings ever. (not opinion, fact, I kept up with that thread about the build-up, and all the gawkers) I just hope you sold it to somebody that won't trash it...just an observation from a regular F150 dude.
