New Street Trucks magazine has a article on the chevy 2500 and 3500 series. A big block producing 340 hp and 450 ftlbs is offered. This is normally aspirated. Might be a good comparison to the Lightning if put in the Chevy SS-but I doubt it. Wouldn't the Lightning motor be lighter since a small block? And I imagine the supercharger wouold speed up faster too. Would still be a good comparo though.

 

Will not make it into a 1/2 ton truck. The SS with the 6.0L or the new big block would have to be certified for emmisions. Would cost GM to much money to have EPA test and certify (Big bucks). Just to put in afew(limited run) trucks.
