Hey Guys,
The seat on my lightning has had it. I called a paint shop to find out how much the ford replacement covers were and he told me $1,000. Hell, I can get custom made seats for just a little more than that.

Do any of you guys know where I could get the ford covers cheaper or do you have a custom seat coverer that you could point me to. Thanks for your time and help.

I took the seats of my 01 L last winter and had the upper and lower outside corners replaced on both sides. I did not use the Ford brushed leather that cost an arm and a leg, I used a smooth leather that matched the color of the seats. The upolstry shop did a nice job. The stitching is a little off where the new material is sewn into the old, but at least the seat looks good and is functional. I like the fact that the leather is smooth and when you slide into the seat, you don't wear out the suede corners.

I don't know why they deleted my reply yesterday, but I have some stock seats I can sell you. They are in perfect condition, been out of the truck for 3 years. The bottom cover was replaced when a repair place ripped the cover. Then I took the seats out for the recaros.
