Question To wing...or not to wing?

Please don't LOL, (to the point of hurting yourself), but...When my new L arrives I was thinking of mounting a 'whip-tail' type of wing to the bed lid. Too 'rice-boy'??? Thank you in advance for any input, pro or con.

Thumbs up

it might look good if you were to include, a small (tastefull) gun turret on the roof, in matching color.

if you can get going fast enough for the rear wing to become functional, go ahead a get the turret functional too w/50cal., but keep in mind, the Betty Grable decals under the "lightning" emblems, won't be far behind.

With all due respect to the learned MrBBQMan, I believe the Lightning is heavy enough to support a 20 mm twin mount. Longer range and destructive power are always a plus.

A single 30 mm rotary cannon would also be an excellent choice. We carry them in a broad range of colors with depleted uranium armor piercing, HE, and anti-personnel flechettes as load options.

20% off today, and today only, if you mention this ad.

Jake; hate to say this after all the obvious
no's, but my wing should be ready in about a
week. I'll show you but,it doesn't look
anything like off a rice wagon.
I should go fast enough for it to be functional. (maybe)

Even I haven't looked at a wing... Don't know how it would mount over the bed cover, anyway. Most mount to the top/back of the rail.
How about fender trim, though.. (just kidding).

Couldn't find the right Polished steel design, so once I modify the powercoated ones I just bought, I will paint them.

Q: who wants my "Pocket Mount" chrome ones? Price:cost of shipping, or gas and maybe lunch if you live in S/E MI.
