What Mod To Do 1st?
To all mod-ed '99L owners,
If y'all had to choose between power and suspension mods (i.e. chip/filter vs. lowering kit), which would give a greater sense of euphoria?
Thanks,
George

George,
I may be biased, but the HP is where it's at. The PSP chip and air filter are absolute MUST HAVES! (sorry for the caps) Lowering looks cool and can help handling, but bang for the buck, go for the PSP goodies.
Sal just came out w/some new code for the chip and the Black Beast is liking it very much, thank you. The shift points are stiffer, the air/fuel mix feels and sounds great.
After the PSP mods, get a pair of the Bassani headers and install them when you go to lower it. Breathing all that fresh air will make her squat and run even harder.
I believe that most might concur with my opinion, I hope....

PSP filter/chip, (BTW will Sal send me a "revised" chip if I send him my dyno sheets?). Also slap some stickers on it, seems that there is some "hidden power" in them cuz I see them all over the place

The chip and air filter are a great combo, but the 3:73 gear sure made this truck come "alive". Doesn't effect the top end anywhere that I have been - 140 mph and then I got "CHICKEN". Enjoy your bolt.

I have a sprayed on liner for permatex and it is great they even matched the color of the truck perfectly. It is very durable and is easy to clean. It doesn't trap any water or chafe and where out the paint. It is a little tacky so it helps to prevent stuff in the bed from sliding around. If you want heavy things to slide in and out easily maybe it's not right for you. The liner actually has a wet look to it, which I love.

I had a feelin' that the chip/filter combo would be the way to go, but I figured I'd ask the experts! Thanks everybody! What a great forum!
BTW, Yoda, I'm going to slap on them special aerodynamic and weight-reducing stickers...(j/k REALLY!)
