You know what. Don't know if its a record but I gotta tell ya I am DAMN proud of my JDM powered L and the speed and consistency it has delivered as I have been BEATING THE LIVING ***** out of it for the last 3 weeks and the truck just keeps coming back for more.
Definately not a 1 hit wonder.
Just goes to show that speed , dependability and driveablity can all be had and for most of us that is what we want in our Ls.
I really do thank JDM for giving me an L that Hauls Azz, Kicks Azz and is just plain Bad Azz.

Comments regarding no stereo and no A/C aren't always pointed at a specific person. In fact, in this case, they are poking fun at the talks that Vinnie, Jim and myself have regarding going fast and the fact that Vinnie and myself could easily go faster by removing our aftermarket stereos & amps and A/C if we wanted to. Both of us choose our tunes (aka stereos) and A/C and get pretty regular lectures from Jim regarding our desire to remain loaded with aftermarket gear and A/C. Matter of fact, I think Jim and I just discussed this the night of 11/12 in NJ, and Vinnie and I talked about it the night of 11/13 on the phone.

Everybody here is doing great at following and achieving their personal goals and desires. I applaud everyone that accomplishes his or her goal!!!!

here's a link back in oct.10 of 2003... running a 10.44 @ 126.6 OFF the spray!i'm sure i went a 10.34 off the spray after that, but hey i might be wrong.and if i am wrong, and if i offended vinnie i aploigize to him,I was in no way trying to tear vinnie down with his AWSOME accomplishment,just trying to Encourage him to push it just a little more to capture the Title! Hmmm, how quickly we all forget that Jim was running HIS OWN white L, (MLNIUM, which now resides again in NewEngland) To I believe 10.2. Wasn't that an all motor pass? And BTW that was in the dead heat of summer and full weight. I could be wrong, he may have been spraying then, but I thought he made an all motor pass for that time. And for those who believe church boy "Father Johnny" is so fri ggin inocent...why would he come on here, and brag about his "faster" non-nitrous run? And then discourage Vin from spraying? Maybe cause V could have the first full weight L in the nines, and that would put the crimp on the JL pro street trucks style? And I'll tell ya what....I respect the fact that JDM is dedicated to making THIER CUSTOMERS go fast, as opposed to working on a shop truck.
JL....go preech to your altar boys in your own post, and let V have his moment in the sun!

Congratz on those great times Vinnie, your truck is FLYING.

 

My eyes work fine KID! And guess what? You can bet your azz that Father Johnny funded Charlies truck. Or atleast, you or me could not go to the preacher and pay what ever Charlie did, and end up with the same result. Not knocking Charlie, its a badazz truck, but being friends with the man and advertising for him has its benifits. Those are some light weight race only trucks. What do you think would happen if V or MLNIUM or any other bigdog JDM truck dropped 800lbs? Heck, Franks stock block truck was running right with him (and didn't go home broken like JL) at Lfest. So don't take things out of context. As for your thoughts here...they don't really matter to me anyway....keep saving your pennies for your adrenaline. Maybe when you graduate high school daddy will help buy you one, then you can hang out on the adrenaline boards instead of a lightning board wich shares no similarities to your concept suv.
