I've called my dealer several times about my L and all they can tell me is the 1st build date is Jan 31st, but he has no idea when mine will be built. I just saw someone posted that their dealer told them the exact build date on their vehicle. If my dealer has put in an order for my L, then shouldn't they too know the exact scheduled build date? Also, should I be asking them for my confirmation number?

I called the VOPC and dealer today and still not scheduled yet. When it is scheduled there will be a serial number attached, at least that is what I was told. Just waiting like our 99.5 fellow Lightning owners had to do.

Your dealer should be able to pull up a print out of the order, it will give an Est Build Date if it is not scheduled. If it is scheduled it will tell them when. Once it receives a vin # it has to be built. Find out who is the order control person in the dealership and ask him to pull up a dora on your order. There isn't a comformation number just a vin #.
