LFP trans kit

LFP trans kit

that thing.. is it EVERYthing needed to rebuild the trans? reason im asking im headed down to my tuners in january. a local shop is gunna rebuild my trans while its down there and i wanna make sure i bring everything he's gunna need to rebuild it.

It all depends on what is wrong with your transmission.
It does not include a filter, make sure you get one and or any shop should have one.
If all you need is gaskets, paper and rubber and clutches and steels replaced then yes the LFP kit is all you need.
If the shop takes the unit apart and finds a planet on the way out or a drum with some ring grooves or a pump starting to show some wear then no, the LFP kit will not be all that you need. Some shops may stock things like that otherwise most can get it in a day.
You may also want to invest in a converter while the trans is out or if you have one, have it freshened up. -Mat-

i am wondering if this rebuild kit compares to the built transmissions available(BTS,Level 10,Monster box), and if any of these choices will allow full power shifts into OD safely. Any info will be appreciated.

ok cool!... ill have to see how much i have left over. but thats what olding me back from going faster then 12.7 right now...
