Race Motor in, time for tuning...

I have had my JLP motor in for 2 wks now. SO far so good, it runs great, nice and quiet so far. Anyways, I was just wondering what you guys think it might make for power..

Mods are

C&L upper
KB 19PSI pulley combo (before heads, and cam, it may be lower now)
JLP SB and Stage 2 cams and ported heads
Belanger Long Tube headers
Borla Exhaust
Accufab TB
K&N intake
Fluidyne heat exchanger
107 Race Fuel!!!

Well you will be down to about 14#'s now... so I don't think you will hit the 540 mark with out a bigger bottom pulley...

What mods do you have on your other L and how much does it make for power?

Why not just put in the AMG motor, or Lambo motor, or Power Stroke, or was it a JATO.

I love it, you guys are something else, why would I say I owned these cars if I didn't... Anyone in AZ that knows me, knows what I have and that it is true, this includes all of the tuners I deal with. PS, the Lambo motor would be cool, but since the Lambo is AWD and Rear mounted, it may be a tough install, LOL!!

Now back to the post..
The 01 had the same setup sans the built motor, C&L, and ran w\ only 14 PSI... It put down 415 on Xtreme Motorsports dyno...

I was hoping for ~550 or so on the race tune! I guess we shall see. If need be I will increase the boost to around 20PSI in hopes of getting that #.

Your going to need a MAF extender, injector's and fuel pump's. Plus, I would put on fuel rail's with adjustable regulator. That way your safely in the 500rwhp club!!
Just my .02,
Bryan

Correct, that is why I have chosen to go with SVC!! The tuner they had was great, but he is now working at ADS!! I forgot that I had added the injectors (60lb), I also have the SCT mass air meter and SCT custom chip that SVC uses as their program hardware... Pumps may be changed soon!

520 hp if you are lucky, real lucky

you will have to turn the boost up to get 550 or more

35th pony is right about where your boost should be, maybe lower if you added long tubes too

The Lambo is a logitudily mounted mid-engine. It's orientation is the same as a Lightning. But then again you own one so you knew that. What ever happen to your photos you were going to post of your impressive stable? Show us a photo of your rides with you two Lightnings posed front row center and I will be the first to make a public appology. Without photos you are either a teenaged poser looking for attention or a rich kid momma's boy hoping to impress someone.

I cannot get a pic w\ the two L's as the 01 Black L was sold... It already has been proven I own two L's. I can see all of your skepticism, so when I get home from work tomorrow (assuming the L has been tuned) I will take the pic of the Lambo, Lightning and Audi S4. Regardless, I am excited about the dyno results to come! Now how in the hell do you attach a picture to your post??
