Question For Those 99'ers with a "Bedrug" brand bedrug

Everyone,

I am going to be picking up a "Bedrug" brand bedrug for my 99 in the next month. Does anyone have any recommended re-sellers. I am in Virginia.

Thanks

If you have an "Motortrend" laying around there is an advertisement in the back with an 800 number you can call for dealers near you. Also and add for the Tekstyle soft tonnoue cover which I ordered. I believe they are in VA too. It's a very nice addition to the bedrug, and makes a very very plush combination. It's like a big trunk. The bedrug might bulge a little here and there, but they lay down after a few weeks. Good luck!!

Try a search on Yahoo by simply entering bedrug. I paid $350 for mine @ a local truck store, I think that is a good price. But I think there is someplace in Ca.that sells them online for less. It is a very nice product when combined w/a cover of your choice. I personally would not have the bedrug w/o a cover.

ps it only weighs about 10 lb.

January Sport Truck Magazine has an install
article on the bedrug. Appears to be an easy
do it yourself project. Great look, even on the beat up old Chivy the put it in. I don't
have a scanner or I would send it to you. Plan to install on my 2000L as well.

Brian,

The BedRug site can be found at
http://www.bedrug.com/ .

On the site they list a distributor for Virginia (located in Deleware) and give his phone number. He could give you the locations of local dealers.

I've had a BedRug and an A.R.E. LSII hard lid (check out http://www.4are.com/ for the lid) installed since the day I picked up my L on July 3. (Had pre-ordered them and drove straight from my Ford dealer to Cap World, the truck assessory store, and had 'em installed.) No problems from either item and I can strongly recommend them both. They're great!

Mike,

What did that Bedrug/ARE LSII setup run you? I'm looking at that combo myself and was wondering what sort of prices I could expect.

Racer-X,

From memory, the combo ran me around $1100 installed. A lot of money but IMO worth it. I think the ARE and the BedRug are the best of their respective types. And, each is guaranteed for life.
