Post Who has Ford hired???

Seeing as how every dealer seems to vary with warranties, i called my today, but he wasnt in. i spoke with a salesman and asked him would changing the air intake or chip would void it. his answer was a line trying to sale me a used 99 L. he didnt even answer my question, and after a few minutes he finally realized that i already had one ordered. he then stated that "the lightning is tweaked out, it has 360 hp stock, what more do you need?" i then let him know that this is 5000 lbs of raw truck, then proceded to make me sound inferior, talking to me like im stupid because im going out a little bit extra that Ford didn't....
AAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
sorry, does anyone else get asses like this?

------------------
2000 Silver Lightning on order
150hp shot (soon)

roush sport suspension (already ordered)

Cool

Sorry to hear that your dealers suck Up here in Eastern Washington, they don't care. Because the get paid directly from Ford Motor Company for all warrenty work. I had a 1991 Mustang with Vortec supercharger and they put 3 tranny's in it under warranty. For the 4th one, I went ahead and bought a stronger unit. I traded this car in for my 1999 Lightning, and the used car manager bought it!! It ran 12.10 12.20's in the 1/4 mile, so it had a TON of mods. Not a problem for any warranty work up here.

They all get paid right from Ford for warranty work.
I when through ~5 dealers before I found one I liked and trusted. (I helps that I have 10 dealers less than 15 miles away)

Its sad the way dealers treat people, the only way to help stop this is to write and call Ford Customer Service and tell them about your experiance. Ford has a heavy push to be "customer focused", as this treatment has a compounding affect on both Ford's and the Dealer's profit, they will respond when they get enough response.
