2004 Lightning Stock dyno done

I use to own a 99 Lightning that was roughly 400/500 and I totaled it a little over a year ago.

I picked up a 2004 sonic blue in august and finally got a dyno baseline for it!

One catch its stock but I added the JDM Silver bullet catback. But as poeple say a stock lightning won't really gain more than 5-8hp from just a catback.

heres the chart:

rwhp356 , 426rwtq
SAE
Dynojet 67degree temps 8% humidity.

HP and different years

Sal may have other insights on this but I believe the 2003-2004 are slightly leaner than previous years and as a result produce a little more power out of the box.

I wonder if timing varies from year to year. Each year has it own calibration and I can't understand why the 2003 would have different calibration than the 2004 when the vehicles are supposed to be totally identical.

A buddy of mine was telling me that there were some hardware changes in 2004???? But I always thought that the hardware was the same and the PCM's were interchangeable. Sal must know this.
