I got the new RPM oil seperator in yesterday and installed it today. Only time will tell if it works good.

 

Looks good can you explain how it exactly works.

 

same as all those compressor type seperators where the oil fills up in a little cup. Instead this directs the oil back to where you fill up so there is no maintenance. The main tube has baffles in it also Id assume to prevent oil from coming up into it. Was only 50 bucks so I thought I'd give it a try.

 

Nice it also looks like there is a plug in it which means you could hook up the other valve cover to it.

 

Yea I was thinking about routing the drivers side into it also. . From my understanding of the directions the plug is there so you can connect the hose to either side depending on the casting of the valve covers and where the piece stops turning into it.

 

Keep us updated. I'm getting sick and tired of emptying mine every week

 

I just bought mine when i get it i will try the other valve cover idea and see if there is any problems.

Be careful tightening the main housing to the oil filler. I gave a slight snug and it snapped right off. Either its not very strong or im an idiot.

Quick question for you. What exactly is on the inside of the canister?

 

the only thin that is on the inside is this baffled pcv grommet that fits in the top.

Actually that looks like it works. My only concern is the thin wall on the threaded part that broke off. If it was slightly thicker it wouls be a really nice peice. To those who have it,how did it function as an oil seperator?
