me and the old lady went out to eat in asheboro nc which is 25 miles from home. went in steakhouse no snow just cloudy, we looked out the window and the snow was coming down. we thought we had time to eat , wrong! when we came out the roads was covered !we thought we could make it the L will just not pull a hill in snow and ice. had to stop for a car on a hill and i didn't think i was going to make it .the L SPUN all the way. cars were in the ditch everywhere. i knew we would not make it home and i did not want to wreck my baby so we turned around and puttered back to asheboro and got a room at the hampton inn . got up this morning and the road crews must have worked all night ,the roads were drivable[at 25 mph] thats one time the L was getting blowed away by 4x4s just glad to be home in one piece. the stupid thing is i left my 4x4 toyota at home because i didnt think it would do anything, i am from the south and we are not snowsmart if you know what i mean! bill boone 99 black lighning 98black cobra convt. 70 boss 302 concours 88 toyota 4x4

 

Wow, glad nothing happened to your baby. You did the smart thing. Yeah, there's nothing like getting caught right after the snow hits before the crews get out.
