Question Extra horse power?

Where does the 20 extra horse power come from on the 2001 and up Stock SVTL compared to the 1999, and 2000 Stock SVTL?

I think its mostly in the 90mm mass airflow meter instead of 80mm, and maybe blower configuration. Not sure about the throttle body, and they also changed the intercoolers, but not sure that did anything. They changed them due to leaks, not for performance. Anyone know if the pullies were different??

well I'm not sure there really is more power with hard parts stock. MM+FF put all of the 2001 stuff on a 99 and gained no horsepower. So only thing left is the tune.

the larger maf, and a different intake runner setup due to the redesigned intercooler but for the most part it is in the tune.

if you're goin to go to the hastle of throwing in a later model computer you might as well get a programmer or chip.... also to clear things up the pullies are not different. The 90mm mass air doesn't really make a difference in power. It's mostly in the tune.
