do you know if the test drive 6 for the sega dreamcast is the exact same if it is ill buy it tomorrow. just think i had the game in my hand monday and almost bought it.

Do they have it for playstation??? I have "Gran Tourismo 2" and "Need for Speed-High Stakes" and both games kick a$$,they don't have L's,but they are great games non-the-less.They have mostly exotic cars,a few domestics(GT2 has Cobra's,the SVT's and the orignal!) and the playability in both is quite good,I highly recomend them. I must warn you that they are highly addictive,and if "Test Drive 6" has L's on it then none of us will ever get anything done!

Oh yea...GT2 is very addictive. I just spent the past 4 hours on that d@#n thing. My left thumb is raw. BTW, I just won the funny car last night....Does anyone know where the drag racing is?

 

If anyone has Need For Speed High Stakes for the PC, I have a down load to add the 99 Lightning. I got it off the net, and it was crude. I got a program to alter the NFS4 cars, and I made it more "Lightning like". Anyone who wants the file, just E-mail me.

Rusty, don't know if it is the same for Sega. Don't see why not.

Hitman, dont' know if they have it for Playstation either.

I do not have either of those systems, so I do not keep up with them. The game is cool. You get to upgrade the engine, tires, brakes (never use them), and suspension. And you can adjust the suspension for firmness and set the rear axle ratio. Now I need to get one of the joystick wheels.

What game system is this 4?? I dont have anyone right now but was looking for one a few months ago, just dont know which one to get

Oldgrnbean- I don't know how to get to the drag strip,but I read somewhere on the net that there isn't one! The company that made it says that the claim that there is a drag track was a misprint!?! So why have the funny car? That just something I read so don't quote me on that. And I would like to know why none of these games have 1/4 mile tracks? It would be a plus in my book.

Yoda-Jerrod(99SVT) has Test Drive for his computer,but I'm pretty sure it is made for all the major systems(sega dream/psx/nintendo),I intend on stopping by Blockbuster to rent TD6 for psx and see if the L is a choice. As for which system is the best...It's personal choice,Sega Dream Cast is the newest,is the most exspensive(over 200$)and has the best graphics.Psx is fairly cheap(bout 100$),good graphics and has many more games than SDC.Nintendo64 is about the same as psx,controls are a bit tricky,and it's still over $100...I think?

Yea...I have no idea why they included the funny car. Out of curiosity I drove it on one of the tracks. They really did a good job with it because it corners like crap....just what it should. I did notice that I am missing one track. A friend of mine said he's done the drag racing....yea right....he probably did what I did...Take it on the longest striaght away on the game.
Oh...BTW..Anyone know which race it is that you can win the Tuscan Speed 12? Funny thing is, I've never been much of a video game enthusiast until I got this game. I need to get outside and go fishing.

 

There is a dragrace game out there. It's called Burnout. For the PC. Get to setup the car with any engine, compression, cam, coilovers, etc. Real hard to control the car with a joystick though.

Playstation does have Test Drive 6 and at the beginning it shows quick video shots of a Lightning doing a burnout and in the game you can race it.

If you have a playstation check out the Mod Chips. This allows you to play games copied from a CD writer. It's legal in Canada but not sure about the U.S.

A guy I know burns the games for $10.00. Regular cost is $50.00 to $70.00

The lightning on test drive six outruns the Mustang 5.0 they have on there. THe truck performs like it should also. I prefer red also

 

I played test drive 6 over the holidays till my thumb was numb.I took the Lightning all the way through the 1st class and beat everything.As you win you can upgrade the vehicle till it is untouchable. It's well worth the money!

Well no luck at blockbuster,TD6 is to new,they don't have it yet so I'm s-o-l. I thought of buying it,but when you could have it for 3 bucks(burning discs? who would do such a thing? ) instead of $40 it just makes sense to wait.Oh well.
