Possible change for the front end

OK, I have to get some brake ducts on "Christine" cause
she is bitching about the heat alla time... Anyone have one
of these?

I think it isn't as elegant as the stocker, but there are more options
for cooling, methinks.

Any other fascias that y'all have seen and liked?

TIA ...

Cliff

Come on guys ... Expand your horizons ... I'm just
trying to solve a problem or two ... Keep the foglights
add the brake ducts and a Fast Air intake ...

Besides, Honda's don't look that good ... LOL

How about the "mod" where you cut into the frame and run some hoses through there where the scoops lead the lower front grill and then to either your intake set-up or brake cooling set-up. Ill see if i can dig up the fhread where someone does that.

Im really not diggin that one^!!

why not put a hose on each side with naca ducts mounted to the frame? add a little wicker the back of the naca duct at a 45* angle and there should be plenty of airflow there for your needs. This works on my cars when we need to add brake ducts but dont want to sacrafise the downforce on the front end.

What i mean it mounting a naca duct parallel with the frame so the air acutally flowing under the truck will be forced in the naca duct. At a point air speed will have a diminshing affect on the cooling amount the duct does. a good aluminum hat that covers a lot of the rotor helps cool better than just mounting some 3" pipe there to clamp the hose to thinking it will direct the flow of cooler air towards the rotor. also ever thought of fluid circulators?

Got any pictures of that setup? My rotors are hitting 475 degrees right now and I need to bring that down a tad < grin >

I appreciate all teh feedback ... I don't really like the looks of that thang either. (Look at the filename fer christs sakes!)

But it is winter and time to think of racing updates....

What about the Cervinis Cobra R front bumper for the L? I looks like there is a place for extra ducting...
