i was talkin to badasssvt today....hes a really nice person, but like most people he sticks up for himself....if he knows somethings not his fault hes gonna shoot up to the stars and nothings gonna bring him down......he didnt mean to start fights all he does is stick up for himself.....the reason he gets mad is because when something happens he gets the blame.....i say all of us need to chill and quit the whining if u dont like my AlTeRnAtInG CaPs then tough.....like badasssvt says the world is not perfect....peace.....and for all your crybabies....u need to go with the other whiners like those chevy fans

i too agree with locox, if something offends you, it should be brought up, maybe not the way Badasssvt does, but that is just his style, thats like not liking someone for race, religion, creed or whatever the cause. We are all family, though we may have our quarrels, we only have each other to share with, so we need to get over this bickering and get happy again!!!

 

I agree with the crybaby issue. It always astounds me when the policemen come out of the wooodwork over stupid things like use of capital letters. Badasssvt, however, is a different breed of cat. Bill Murray's analysis, although perhaps partly tongue in cheek, was dead on. Badass, came down on me very hard one day about something totally unrelated to him, but dare anyone even hint at something negative in relation to him, he goes ballistic. It is a two way street, however he does not seem to understand that concept. Also, it is absolutely inexcusable to get abusive to our gracious host who gives of himself to manintain this wonderful board.

To anybody who continues to post on this thread defending him...did you read my post on why he was kicked off? Despite many complaints, I felt his contribution merited that he be allowed to stick around, with the rest of the community gearing him the right direction.

It was not because of his lack of etiquette on the boards that he was kicked off, it was because of a personal attack he made on me by email.

Bottom line, that is not excusable. Ray is not welcome here without an apology to me. Let him drone on about my abuse of power all he wants, but let him do it elsewhere.

This is kinda getting to be a drag. Why doesn't everybody just step back, count to 10, Thank Steve for giving us a good home *like the dumb friends league* and then build a bridge and get over it. Ray knows what he has to do. It's up to him to make the decision to be part of the family again and it is clear where he stands with everyone who posts regularly on the board. If he chooses to say sorry he knows who to pal around with and he knows who to avoid. I think that the focus of why we are all here has shifted to a bad, scary place and there are other more useful things to argue about. Can't blame a guy for defending himself *Ray AND Steve* Seems you are both in the same boat but are at opposite ends of the scale with your methods to handle it and it isn't balancing. The best thing in my opinion would be to agree to disagree. Ray, it's obvious that you have made quite an impression on the whole bunch of us and a lot of people went to bat for you. That has to count for something. I wish you would say you were sorry to Steve. He lets us be here so it is kinda of like biting the hand that feeds you so to speak. C'mon.....group hug.

I'm not sure what's going on here. There's alot of posts about it and I didn't read them all, just skimmed to get the gist of the problem so I could offer an opinion since there are strong feelings on both sides.

I think he should be sent back to Cuba and be raised by his father. Shame on those bringing all these legal proceedings. In your heart you know I'm right.

 

Just an observation here.....but...this happened on LS1.com and it got quite funny last year. You don't suppose that LoCox = BaDAss????? When I look at the way both post, their syntax/grammar is similar in many ways.....I just find it interesting the way he wrote up his defense of BadAssvt. Oh well....it's just an observation and I'm sorry in advance if I offended anyone with it....
