Also, try pulling the vaccum source to the boost actuator, and see if the noise goes away.

Agreed. Stiegemeier's takes extra care when putting everything back together, and I know for a fact they inspect all prior to shipping. A lot of the added cost going with Stiegemeier is the "extras" they perform during R&R.

Also, as mentioned above, be SURE the torque specs and order was done correctly on the blower case when tightening it back down to the lower intake. Remember, the blower case is ALUMINUM, and can distort if not correctly torqued.

I'm sure Bob and Robyn will have you running perfectly. Give their shop the time to work with you - I know you'll be happy

FAST95Z, hmmmm.... i heard my truck making the same noise this weekend with only a 2lb pulley and the new port. it had sat all day and was about 38 degrees when I cranked it up. I heard that avitation/bad bearing sound right after start-up when it was in gear and rolling through a parking lot under NO throttle. it went away after warm. I was in caravan of folks so I didn't have time to check it out thoroughly. i always garage my truck so this is the 1st time the engine has been started when the engine itself was colder than 55 degrees or so. let me know what Steige thinks of your issue b/c I may have it too. I'm convinced mine is cavitation.

Are your rotors stripped ( mine had the same noise, due to the incresed rotor to rotor clearance without the factor rotor coating, and once it warmed up it went away)
Also a stiege.

Stieg listened to the video and said "Can you send that back into us we need to inspect that." So I got to pull it off and put the stocker back on and then go from there.
