If Voorhees was there ripping off some LOW 8 second passes in his 1993 Yea they made a lightning back then too , maybe he would have had a picture posted on this site. NO! I don't even think you guys would be interested, they did build a lightning before 1999... This is purely a Gen II and Mustang site... Now I know why I have only 12 post in here Good day fella's

 

are you kiddin me? i love the Gen 1 Lightning.. i was walking around with Jim CtTopGun around on JDM Day and we both were admiring your truck.. he actually has one that he wants to fix up. im the guy who had the 2 slick blow out on my second run. some people here might not know the history of the Lightning with it begining in 93 along with the cobra as a part of SVT's program.. i tell you what i remember the articles when car and driver compared the Lightning to Chevys pi$$ poor excuse for a performance truck the 454 SS.. dont be down, turn that frown upside down . i appreciate the Gen 1 just as much as you do, and maybe one day ill get to own one..

 

That is BS Dennis... Although I'm sure there's a few people on here that could care less about them, most of the guys here respect the gen 1s. I know I still love 'em... I borrow my dad's whenever I can! I miss that truck!
