Good evening everyone...
New to the forum and first would like to state that this site ROCKS! Read a few of the threads and discussions and all of it sounds solid - enough for me to go on ahead and JUMP ON IN as a new member.

Alright, first question of many in the near future -

Gotta '03 White Lightning and been looking for a hitch cover, few months back I noticed some cat sellin some hitch covers on ebay that were triangular in shape, made of some kind of aluminum or steel, and within the cover were the Ford emblem and beneath it was the SVT emblem. The back ground to the hitch cover was color matched to our truck's paint but only came in black, white, and red - all with the chrome emblems and standard Ford logo. (Deep breath -whew!) Now...i should have bought it at that time but for some reason didn't...any of you out there know where I can find this hitch cover at?? I hope I described it with as much detail as needed for you to know which one I'm referring to?

i have only seen that one on ebay... and they are on there often, just keep an eye out for it on there

oh, nice, that would make me a good xmas present. anybody got any pics of this on their truck... i can't get a feel for the dimensions from the pics on the site... i don't like the large hitch covers which is why I have a tiny little plastic Reese insert in mine.

 

let me tell you i bought the one from ebay. and the thing is frickin quality.. its heavy and looks and lasts.. n ow that i took the hitch off i have no use for just on my shelf lookin pretty lol definately worth the money..

Glad to help a fellow Lightning owner out.. just make sure you get one of the reciver locks so nobody tries to steal it on ya

 

The one I bought off of ebay....very good quality.

EDIT...good point hostile......notice the barrel lock behind mine.

 

MGW at MGWLTD.com used to sell an awesome billet one that had a lightning bolt on it. I just visited their site and it looks like they quit selling the billet/chrome pieces for L's. Glad I got the interior stuff
