Best Timing System
Hey Justen, Sal here. Each has it's pros and cons. A belt system is quiet, and usually accurate, but belts wear and stretch, and go when least expected. Gear drives are noisey (whether that's good or bad is up to you)and they have been proven to rob a few hp from drag, but are by far the most accurate of the three and have the least timing deflection. Chain drives are still the overall best because they last the longest, are pretty much trouble free, and have been well proven. Downside to chains, is that as they stretch, they increase in timing deflection, but that takes quite a bit of time.
