Tire pressure

Im headin to Noble this weekend and my parents didnt ship my slicks up to me to where they'll get here my tday so imma hafta run on my N555's. what kind of tire pressure should i run and how should i launch with em'? i havent raced without slicks or 555r's since i got the truck so i have no clue.thanks-Kyle

555r's?: I'd say around 20-22 pounds in the rear. Pump your fronts to about 40

no just 555's the i dont have nemore R's , im running just strait 555's

I assume they're 18s?? And, if you're used to running slicks or DR's, you're not gonna be real happy (I'm sure you already know that). It depends on the the temperature, but, I'd start out at 26psi in the rears and lower it until you see the 60 foots you want. I don't know what you're supsension or motor mods are, but, I bet you won't be happy after running on street tires as opposed to slicks or DR's.....

well just got back and i ended up with a 13.02 @105.39 w/1.89 60 foot and .402 reaction. so i didnt do too bad for just a 2# upper, ram air, and a predator. so im happy for just street tires. it was a ford vs. buick and somethin like 205 cars showed up and there were alot of amazing cars, coupple 8 second gen 1's that lifted and scraped the bumpers on 8 and 9 second runs. all in all ford won and we earned bragging rights till next year. i'll b ready for 11's by then so i cant wait.-Kyle
