i tried to do that with the aftermarket ones and the center of the light collapsed, which forced me to throw them in the trash im determined to do it again.. the black aftermarket ones i got which are my second set are always getting moisture in them, even though i sealed them with silicone, they continue to get it..

He baked the tailights to seperate them, then use rubbing alchohol to remove all the chrome and resealed them up. They're black under the chrome.

Alternative to buying the black-statin finish ones online.

I almost bought the black aftermarket ones but I hear they have trouble with moisture. Maybe the moisture comes in where the bulbs are plugged in?

200 degrees for 10 - 12 minutes, thats great if you have an oven.

Can some one please reccomend a cooking time for people who only have a microwave?

Microwave works mostly by heating the water molecules in the item

I wouldnt suggest it for plastic
