Good choice, love my SB.

My trucks louder than my buddies EVO with straight pipes (sounds like a weed wacker on steriods)...not to mention the L sounds twice as good because it has twice as many cylinders.

yup

Kooks, high flows and silver bullet from JDM. BY FAR the loudest exhaust I've heard on these trucks aside from no mufflers.

I had the Silver bullet cat back, then went to the headers and high flows. I almost **** when i started it up. It's insane.

My old man has the full JDM exhaust with the larger mufflers and there's no comparrison.

I will tell you, when it's time to switch (i have the old Silver Bullet which is rusted almost all the way through and i dont' even drive in the snow and rain), I will go to the larger mufflers.

Here is a link to my dyno run. Dont know if the link is still up. I have the full JDM exhaust.
-Kooks Long Tubes
-High Flow Cats (CarSound Cats???? Dont know the brand)
-Magapack Mufflers. No X-Pipe.
If you want loud this is loud. Almost to much for me and I'm young LOL. Let me know if the link still works.

I agree and I would also add that the best sound doesn't mean loud. IMO, the Bassani is the best because it's deep and throaty, not just LOUD. Bassani is the only True Dual Exhaust on the market with very little resonation in the cab that you experience with other kits.

I will also add some vendors use resonators in there exhaust kits, which is nothing more than glass packs, not mufflers. This makes (IMO) the exhaust tone "LOUD" and "OBNOXIOUS" with a ton of resonation in the cab.

There are many variables that come into play when considering comments we make on the forums regarding exhaust. Not limited to, but include:

Sound
Quality of Construction
Ease of install
Materials used
Price
Vendor loyalty
Age of individual
Etc...

As far as price goes, LFP has an affordable price on Bassani.

You want loud? Long tubes, no cats, and turndowns.

I have a MAC and it sounds fine but I plan on getting a Silver Bullet after this winter. Louder the better.

Old-School?

well, I've got the Flowmaster American Thunder kit, single muffler and still have the stock cats. it was too mild, then I put new 12" long by 4" diameter tips on it and I could NOT believe the difference in sound! anyway, I'm curious what this would sound like without the cats, and then with long tubes? DAMN, and the flowmaster is only like 2 hundred and something bucks, juat an idea, has anyone tried this yet? the silver bullets are the loudest I've heard with an otherwise stock setup so far. Another thing about the silver bullets or any other "true dual" setup, in California the actual smog laws prohibit a true dual system, it has to cross over somewhere in the system, so you'd have to have an x-pipe if you use the bullets. Not that most people don't get away with it depending on the smog shop. ..depends on the smog guy but if they wanted to be jerks they could.

the silver bullet come with a Kooks x-pipe welded to the mufflers already, you should have no problems with the smog unless they bring out a decibal meter and even then you wouldnt have to worry..
