New Jersey has not been kind to me...

First off it wouldn't stop raining yesterday and we missed out on JDM day. Then last night someone broke into the truck at the hotel we were at They punched the passenger side lock, broke the dome light, stole the Alpine HU and JL amps, and damaged some dash pieces.

Oh ya, your roads suck too..

I can completely sympathize with. I know this year has not been a great Lightning year for you with so many set-backs with trying to add power.

Having this happen must have been the icing on the cake. Hope you make it home safe but what a boring ride with no radio now.

Sorry to hear about the setback. This should have been a great trip for you, now you leave with a bad taste of this area.
I hope the damage is minimal and best of luck with your new combo.
Jim

Since I have to make an insurance claim, I'm just going to make them get me all new. They damged the A/C controls - looks like they pried on that area to get the radio surround off.

At least you can get the insurance to cover it. I just made the second claim in 2 months for a stolen stereo in my sons car. The first one happened at a theater in a very well to do neighborhood(this crap happens everywhere, not just in bad hoods), the second one happened 2 days after he got the replacement stereo installed. Crap my insurance company probably hates my son. The damage they caused the first time was minimal...they knew what they where doing and unscrewed and disconnected everything like the factory would. The second time, they where morons and broke the dash prying at it.

If I ever happen up on some asshat stealing ***** out of a car, God better help him. I plan to make the theif pay for any and all stereos I have ever had stolen.

Welcome to Jersey... I had my mustang broken into twice and tires slashed right in my parents driveway, and they don't even live in a bad neighborhood.
I'm thankful nothing has happened to my L yet, especially since I work in New Brunswick... even though I park in a parking deck I still worry.
