I am running a 03 Harley blower with a 6+ pulley(12psi total) on a N/A 5.4L...now that its cold Im seeing 13-13.5 lbs of boost and I believe thats putting some stress on my stock n/a motor....I want to change the crank pulley to lower the boost and I would like your guys input on what I should do

You could step the pulley down to a "4lb lower" or have the tune pull some timing. If you want to play it safe get the timing down to 14. (assuming your running 93 octane fuel)

Unless you are going WOT throttle you shouldn't see that much boost. Have your tuner tone down your program and teach your right foot to behave. With a 6lb lower and a stock Harley upper I don't see you making that much boost. Your gauge may not be accurate.

 

i have checked my gauge after it was installed and its right on...I do enjoy the power and I do go WOT everytime I drive it...thats why I built it..I know I can baby it but I want to make sure that if I do mash the pedal that she wont blow...I was also thinking of contacting my tuner for a "winter tune" but I still want to lower the boost

Im not sure what the pulley is...I purchased it from Madenterprise and told him that I wanted to have 12psi with the Harley s/c and he shipped me a pulley and I was seeing 12psi all summer

 

Measure the diameter of your lower pulley and upper pulley. That will help determine what you need to do.
