Angry Stone to the snoot?

I guess I caught a small road missile in the hood. It looks like a pea size piece of cracked ice in my shiny red hood. Anyone have anything like this happen/repaired? Can it be spot fixed if only clearcoat?

Mines worse, a small dog to the airdam. BUMMER I have a nice crack in the airdam below the lower grill, pushed grill in but it popped back into place. Also ripped lose the rubber flap that goes from the airdam to the frame. I just hate it when that happens!!

Oh!!!! By the way the little rascal got up and ran off, so I figure not much damage to my opponent.

I think it may be worse for me. I keep banging my chin. I put lower profile tires on my truck and now I cant get into my driveway without scraping. (at least I dont have to worry about saving up for that rousch kit now.)
Does anyone know if there is an easy way to "armor" the bottom of the front bumper so it doesnt look like somebody took a belt sander to it?

blue blood: I'm planning on a little road trip from Atlanta to St Cloud for the Daytona Speedweeks. I've got a relative that lives there I'll be staying with. Perhaps we could hook up. Are you a NASCAR fan?

Thumbs up

Sounds good to me. I want to check out speedweek this year. I'm not too far from St.Cloud. I'm on the west side of the big lake (Toho) All of my NASCAR action has taken place on the couch or in a bar so far. This might just break that spell. Let me know when you are going to be here.

I had thought about getting black bed liner material sprayed on the bottom of the front airdam to protect it. At least if you scrape it won't change colors and show up like it does.

Typhoon Is that a do it yourself thing or body shop? If DIY is it spray or liquid? Either way it would require some #2000 wetsanding, buffing, I would imagine

Hey guys, I'm in the same position here,I've got two big scrapes on my front air dam. I went to a high end detail shop and they removed all the small scratches and nicks, but said the only way to get the scrapes off would be to do the whole sanding and buffing thing. Anyone have an idea how much it would cost?

Well, all I can say is at least you guys have nobody to blame but yourselves...If I ever catch who keyed my truck I'm going to rip their arms off and beat them with them. I had a tiny lil nick in the hood too, luckily the guys at the shop my dealership uses were helpful and you can't tell there was ever a nick or a scratch *putting it very mildly* What makes me mad is that that truck is NEVER anywhere where I can't see her...Makes me hella mad.

Well, besides what was my fault, I was scraped on the side when I parked my car at the mall around Thanksgiving, and on Thanksgiving weekend, I came home from a party around 3:30 am and the truck was right in front of my house. I was out for the count, but when I woke up someone had drove by and dumped some kind of white plaster material right smack on the driver side of my truck. I spent the whole weekend trying to get it off, the wax kept it from sticking to the metal but the plastic parts on my truck looked like they were discolored for good. Luckily when I took my truck to the detail shop they were able to get all that stuff off. But I know how you feel I had dreams of chasing them down in my truck and unleashing my 120 lb. security dog on them.
