Well Yoda,
This is very impressive. I'm sure it did take quite a while to do, and will take quite a while to go through.

GREAT JOB!!

Yoda, you are 'da man.

A magnificent effort, and I had to at least peek at every one. Also, sort of puffy headed that a couple were ones I originated (Your model Lightning will be in the mail when I get your mailing address). As mentioned above, not only a great reference for longer term members, but an absolute gold mine for new members.

A great combination Christmas/New Years present from a member I respect very much and hope to meet in person some day.

Thumbs up

those posts only go back to where members actually received their lightnings. some of the best ones were before that. crying/whineing/jumping up and down/talks of strikes, no one test drove one, bought sight unseen. put deposits down and impatiently waited, up to 9 months, as the delays mounted. they were great post by "grown-ups", me included

Cool

Yeah, BBQMAN, those were the days. As I can see the unloading area at my dealership from the back door of my shop, Pat almost fired me for dereliction of duty because I spent hours every day watching the car transporters unloading looking for mine.
Then when we finally got them April/May, we started bitching about not being able to spin the tires, suspension knocks, non functional boost gauges (mine for 45 days) cheesy interiors and so forth.

Then bitching at Mike T because it took so long to get Superchips.

Now all we have to bitch about is Sal's chips and filters and my RC cars and models and where are they.
A lot of history in the last 8 months or so.

Funny, at 7k miles, I love my Bolt more than ever and totally overlook things that bothered me in May. Sal's chip is on my desk, the Bassani setup is still in the boxes in the garage and the PSP filter is in it's box in the bed of the Bolt. I really cannot get to it until mid Jan. at the least, and I am still perfectly happy.

It will be really interesting to see the comments of the 00 owners as their vehicles start flowing in in a month or so (or so I hope for their sanity).
Can't remember enjoying anything more than my association with this board (certain physical functions excluded of course)and I've made more friends here than I ever would have imagined.

Like I said ther were ALOT of great posts but I was tryng to keep in narrowed down more for the new people so they could get the real juicy stuff. It actually came out longer than I wanted 2 becuz there is sooooo much good info. I wish I couldv' had more but was too long already. I was thinking of putting in some of the complaints, but felt that they had already been fixed (should have poted @ least one on the piston slap, but decided against becuz no one has really complained recently). Glad that people r enjoying it

Yoda,
All the post are great, hell it make take me more than 3 hrs. to get them all organized in files I am setting up.

Frankly, I do not see how any of you current owners have time to do anything to your trucks (even drive them) with all the time you spend on this message board. It has become an addiction to me (wife thinks I've finally lost it.)

If my 2000L EVER gets built, I will know more about this vehicle before hand than any I have ever purchased thanks to the greatest bunch of guys I have never met. I knew this darn computer would pay for itself one day.

ohmygosh my wife & I get into arguments over me being on the comptr ALL the time. I have had to cut back from what I use to be. Although I read 9 diff forums: this 1, Ford vs Chy, muclstng, Black Lodge, LS1, Z28, GN, Corvet, Speed tales. I find new ones all the time, & spend hours going throw all the old "kill storeis" etc....
