New BEST (60ft.,1/8,1/4 E.Ts) w/Whipple on lower pulley combinations and more weight
Before I give details.let me just say that this is NOT a KB bashing thread. I am VERY happy w/ my KB and this is just my experience w/ the Whipple.
This is also NOT a perfect world. So I do not have back to back KB vs. Whipple passes
Toady we ran the truck at E-town (not Cecil w/ usually is faster) , in a major Head/cross wind (unlike Cecils tailwind), So bad they were talking about 1/8th mile only passes.
Also I ran a 2.8 upper and a 6 lb. lower (not the 8 I usually run) and the truck weighed 4890 w my fat-azz in it (tonneau cover and tailgate still on, but passenger seat was out, usually all this is off when I go for a #) .
OK with all that B.S out of the way the #s are
1.51 60 , 6.80 1/8th, 10.71@125.5 1/4. All NEW BESTS!!!!
The MPH was killed by the wind.
The Whipple definately feels like it pulls throughout the whole run and the Low end definately feel a little better then with the KB.
Again this is my UNSCIENTIFIC experience with the Whipple.
I have NOTHING against KB and will have it back on my L soon.
The L will be deweighted, 8# lower on for JDM day on Friday.
So more results to follow.
Again take this info for what its worth.
Also thank you Jim @ JDM for a great day of racing and HAPPY B'DAY!!!!

The Whipple is a better supercharger due to the fact that it is rear entry. It's more efficient than the Kenne Bell. By the way, I'm not bashing KBs at all. There is one one my truck because I couldn't get a Whipple when I wanted one.
