Bill murry, Ineed info on r/c lightning.
I already have an up and running lightning.I have a pistol grip and battery, all the servos,and charger. What i would like to do is purchase your"special racing" lightning model,excluding battery/pistol/charger/servos. Basically just the truck as it would come from the factory but with your special parts instead.

Hey Bill,
I will heading your way on the 24 Jan 00. I will be upgrading the software & optimizing the radar system at Atlanta Hartsfield Airport. I will be there for the week doing the optimization but I would like to make plans to see "Moby ****" and say Hello to a fellow Lightning owner & supportive member on this board. I met Wyldman about 5 weeks ago when he drove thru OKC. It always very nice to put a face to the name. I would like to buy a RC Lightning but will have to check my funds due to all the Holiday shopping.
Let me know if you will be town during this time frame and I will haul the Rental car down to Kennesaw to say hi.

Evening Ray and Terry:
Ray, please read my new post coming in a few minutes on "RC/s, a primer". The immediate answer to your question though, is chassis $109 without motor or speed control. Motors I would recommend are around $36 at my normal sale price, but I can shave that a bit. A good electronic speed control is a must if you go with a truly modified motor below 17 turns. They range between $60 and $125 depending on features. If you want to retain a reversing feature, you are limited to a 17 turn motor.
Freight is $10 for the lot.
Terry: I will be here in that time frame, and you are most welcome. I can probably organize at least 2 other Lightning owners and one 6 cyl. driving member.
My days off, yes I am taking them again, are Sunday and Monday, but I can meet you anytime as business has slacked off just a bit from the Christmas madness.
